Here's how it works



All of our equine-assisted corporate development (EACD) workshops include the following three elements:

1) a pre-workshop consult to identify your team’s goals and determine their specific areas of greatest challenge.  This information will be used to custom design a corporate development session tailored to your team’s specific needs.

Horse Powered Solutions offers two different program design options in order to best fit your company’s needs:

  • Employer-Driven

This option allows employer(s) to guide the focus of the workshop design.  A 30-minute interview will be conducted so that Horse Powered Solutions can ascertain the specific areas that you would like us to develop your workshop around.

  • Employee-Driven

This option allows employees to guide the focus of the workshop design.  Needs assessment surveys will be administered to all employees to ascertain areas that would benefit most from improvement.  The following topics will be inquired into:

  • Communication
  • Corporate Culture
  • Employee Relations
  • Trust in Management
  • Career Development
  • Rewards/Recognition
  • Teamwork
  • Work/Life Balance


Leadership

Please note that Employee-Driven workshop designs cost an additional $350.

2) an equine-assisted corporate development workshop. This can range from a half day to several days, depending upon your needs.

3) a post-workshop assessment report that will detail observations about your team’s process and dynamics, as well as identify solutions that were created and successfully implemented by your team.  Based on the information gained about your group, additional recommendations to keep your team functioning at its highest level will also be included.


Overall productivity can be improved by improving the internal functioning of your corporate team. Generally speaking, facilitated work with horses allows for the creation of valuable insights regarding group dynamics. Through the power of experiential learning, the topics of management and leadership, problem solving, teambuilding, goal setting, confidence, creative thinking, communication, relationship building, and self-awareness can all be authentically addressed.
